Two Cats - Eva Hartman

Two cats sit side by side with their backs to the viewer, drawn in a handful of unbroken black brush lines on a plain white ground. One turns its head a little to the left and the other to the right, and beyond the ears, the whiskers and the curve of the two backs almost nothing else is given.

Drawn in ink with a brush, each line laid down in a single pass and left without correction. Eva Hartman sees herself as a visual storyteller, where every picture is a story, and works in digital drawing, watercolour, acrylic pens, felt pens and ink pens. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
