Roses - Kareem Rizk

A dark photograph of red roses shows through from underneath, their leaves almost black. Over it a yellow angular shape and a yellow circle have been laid down, with a peach-to-pink panel at the right and a strip of blue and cream stripes in the corner. At the lower left a torn white paper carries the word Wear in heavy black type, turned on its side.

Built from cut and torn paper, reproduced here at high resolution. Kareem Rizk is an Australian collage and mixed media artist living and working in Denmark, with a background in graphic design and an affinity for typography and re-purposed printed ephemera. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
