Blue Cat in the Garden - Eva Hartman

A blue cat lies curled in the grass with its tail raised behind it, drawn in white and dark blue lines over a solid blue body. Around it a meadow is worked in quick green and yellow strokes, with small red, orange and dark blue flower heads scattered through it and one larger orange bloom at the top. Nothing is outlined, and the whole sheet is filled edge to edge with marks.

Drawn in felt pen and acrylic pen over a textured ground, each flower given in two or three strokes. Eva Hartman sees herself as a visual storyteller, where every picture is a story, and works in digital drawing, watercolour, acrylic pens, felt pens and ink pens. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
