Picking Up Likes - Dikhotomy

Two girls in a wooded clearing gather red hearts and blue thumbs-up icons instead of berries. One stands on tiptoe with both arms stretched up to pick one from a branch, the other kneels below with a wicker basket already full of them, both painted in the soft browns and greens of a nineteenth-century salon picture.

Made as a digital collage, a classical painting with social media icons worked into the harvest. Dikhotomy is the project of Nando López, a Barcelona-based artist who blends digital illustration, collage and pop art. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
